Courtney Wendling, PA-C
Advanced Practice Providers
For Courtney Wendling, working in neurosurgery was always her career goal. She finds the spine and brain the most fascinating parts of the human body because of their resilient yet delicate nature. Wendling is committed to being present during every step of a patient’s journey, from initial consultation to post-operative follow-up. By building strong, therapeutic relationships, she can better understand every patient’s individual needs. As a physician assistant, Wendling has the ability to be in the operating room and clinic. Providing care to patients in both areas helps foster a sense of trust, comfort and continuity. This continuity helps her reassure patients and make decisions during a vulnerable time. Wendling fell in love with the Last Frontier on a vacation. She loves that life in Alaska provides her the opportunity to work so close to nature. Plus, she’s no stranger to harsh winters. She was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. On her days off she can be found exploring Alaska or cheering on the Buffalo Bills.
