Erika Arthur is a lifelong Alaskan, raised in Anchorage and Palmer. Her patient care hours in neurology prior to physician assistant school piqued her interest in the neuroscience field, leading her to pursue a position in neurosurgery after PA school. The ability to assist with surgeries and procedures is what keeps the job interesting. She’s serious about her responsibility of helping patients and their families through life-changing diagnoses and illnesses. She tries her best to educate patients by explaining complex or unfamiliar topics in a way patients and families understand.
